Bacchus – Pinot Noir Gingers Cuvee 2021 (750ml) Fashion

Description
Dark ruby color. Light to medium bodied with aromas and flavors of raspberry, tart cherry, spice with a touch of earth. Supple and balanced with a smooth finish. The fruit for this Pinot Noir is sourced from mostly from Monterey. It is vinified 50% stainless steel tank and 50% in neutral oak. The wine is then aged for 8 months in large neutral oak. This keeps freshness at the fore and gives one a sense of the essence of Pinot Noir unfettered by too much wood. Its also a testament to the high quality grapes at the disposal of David Gordon, the wine director at Tribeca Grill. Named after his daughter, Ginger, this is wonderfully fragrant, pure Pinot–no steroids, growth hormones or superhero oak regiment. It s just juicy cherries, bright cranberries, a touch of spice and a hint of sandalwood. Surprisingly long in finish for a wine of its price, this is ready to go Pinot for parties, pork or poultry. | |
